We offer complimentary yard maintenance services to elderly community members in the West End/John Barrow Neighborhood who may lack the financial means or physical ability to care for their outdoor spaces. These services not only enhance the beauty and safety of their surroundings by ensuring clear walkways, but they also foster a sense of pride for residents while improving the overall appearance of the neighborhood. We’ve teamed up with The Church at Rock Creek to provide monthly food box deliveries to elderly individuals who are unable to pick up their food in person. This service is offered on the first Monday of each month. If you or someone you know could benefit from this, please contact The Church at Rock Creek or leave us a message on our main page to sign up.
Our Literacy Night was a fantastic success, with over 20 families joining us for an evening filled with learning and fun! We gave away 75 books, generously donated by the Central Arkansas Library System, and helped children sign up for library cards while they created personalized bookmarks to take home. Thanks to a generous donation from the Urban League of Arkansas, we were also able to provide free pizza and cupcakes, making the night even more special. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and helped make the event a memorable celebration of literacy and community!
